SWQMZingspace prepares Stormwater Quality Monitoring (SWQM) programs focused on the first flush as well as large rainfall events which ultimately coincide with the associated fluxes of terrestrially derived pollutants. Turbidity and Total Suspended Solids are also addressed. Deposition of suspended solids can block pipes, alter flow conditions in open channels, and disrupt marine life habitats. All water samples are collected and tested, with recommendations given according to the results. |
